Parents often get stressed out when they are unable to pick the right choice of food for their children. And to make the matter worse kids are much more experienced in escaping the nutritious food. Like greenies and fruits are their biggest enemies on the earth. They won’t pull back even if they have to fight like the way they battle in combat game. Kids of this generation are much smarter than we can even imagine which leaves us spell bound. But, it is very much necessary to feed them with the right nutrition.
It is very well said childhood is the base foundation of our health. If they won’t eat well balanced diet during the days of kindergarten, it costs heavily in their later life. I can completely understand the dilemma of parents but solutions has to be dug out or else our kids will never be healthy. Especially, kid’s who aspire to become some great athlete. But they are unaware of the food they require to beat the world and win the championship.
I guess it is very much important to make them aware the importance of well balanced diet. At very first make them realize as they need the sport equipments which are very much essential as those equipments guards them from getting hurt. In the similar manner food is the basic requirement of the body to gain the energy to play any sport. Sport is something where you need 100% of focus, concentration, good energy level, stamina and good health. These basic factors are needed to play any sport. After then explain them the meaning well balanced diet and the use of diet in their sport.
It is a humble request to all the kids who are playing some sport and want to be athlete. Grab some nutritional and healthy food which is full with required nutrients. The proper kind of food and drink will definitely mould you in a better athlete. There are many professional athlete have even appointed dietitian and nutritionist so that they perform better in their game. No doubt like every child even athlete need the basic food that includes:
Carbohydrates that is found in fruits, vegetables and whole grains- Minerals such as calcium are obtained from dairy products
- Vitamins that can be gained from vegetables and fruits
- Protein are usually generated from eggs and dairy food stuff
Apart from all this children also need some fats. Now this food structure is very basic and every parent knows this but the requirement for the athlete kids extends to more. And they need special diet as they burn huge amount of calories when they play or practice. Thus, an athlete kid should eat more properly then any rather active kid.
- There should be a proper intake of well balanced calorie snacks as they are required in greater proportion by the body but that doesn’t makes that they should grab a lot on junk food. And always keep in mind that kids who don’t require much of strength in the field and amount of workout you do. If you don’t workout for more hours and you still consume huge amount of calorie snack then it is of no use.
Calcium is the most important nutrition that a body needs while playing any sport. Calcium is essential to put up tough bones. Bones are the ones that get damaged under the immense stress and anxiety of heavy exercise. Generally, calcium is found in milk, cheese, yogurt and dairy products. Even orange juice and green leafy veggies are good source of calcium.- It is very much necessary to include iron rich food in your diet. Iron is essential for many organs to carry out their task efficiently. It helps to form the hemoglobin that is regulates the blood circulation of the body. It is also important for bonding oxygen to the blood cells. Intake of iron also helps in the respiration. Food like dried beans, fruits, vegetables and fortified cereals are the best source to obtain iron. Even the teenage girls who play any sport suffer immensely during the menstruation cycle. But their sports demands great amount of energy thus it is mandatory for them to grab some rich iron food.
- Consume a good amount of water as when it is needed. Athletes require water while carrying out their regular workouts or exercise. When we play any sport or workout our body loses water in the form of sweat through the skin. Usually while the body is sweating it actually calms down the body but always remain cautious if, you are loosing heavy amount of sweat then your body is getting dehydrated. And no one can perform better if you are having dehydration. Drink plenty of water during your exercise. Munch on some juice fruits like watermelon and muskmelon. Add little water to the fruit juices and sip them to gain good amount of energy.
- While you leave for the game or workout always eat your meal at least two to four hours prior to the game. Don’t have full stomach food as then you require expending power in digesting the food. The nutritional food you should have before the game consists, of protein and carbohydrates but at the same time they should be low in fiber and fats.
- You may grab some snacks like sports bar, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruits or half sandwiches.
- Food stuff that has to be strictly avoided is sodas, carbonated drinks, sugary eatables, junk food and candy bars. These foods will definitely worsen your game.
