It is the biggest battle for all the mothers to feed their kids with healthy and yummy breakfasts every morning. Mothers want their kids to eat healthy stuffs and kids will prefer yummy snacks. The nutritional value doesn’t matter to kids. And poor mothers have to drill their brains daily for making some thing that is yummy and attractive. Especially, if the mother is working women then she is almost on a rollercoaster ride. I can really understand their struggle but, let me tell some little efforts and we can make our kids healthy breakfast. And they definitely will enjoy it.
Many times when kids see milk in early morning breakfast they catch their tummy and start complaining about the upset trouble. They are pretty smarter than we are. And forcing kids is of no use because they won’t enjoy their food. Never force your child, as food eaten under stress or disturbed emotion leads to gastric problems. It even lowers down their metabolic rate. Thus, in such condition we can try and make the food creative and attractive which will tempt them to eat all kind of food. I completely agree that working women have no time to invest in preparing creative food. But, how if we provide you with quick breakfast recipes? Well, it is not that tough. You can definitely try out and check out the clock.
Breakfast spilt:
This is very simple recipe and will be ready till you kid packs his bag for school.
Add sliced banana to a bowl of yogurt. Put some fresh strawberries and raspberries in the bowl. And finally sprinkle cereals that are mixed with nuts, honey, oats, dried fruits, and brown sugar.
And your breakfast spilt is ready to eat.
Potato- o-waffle:
Kids usually are great lovers of potato. They love all the fried stuff made of potato. Thus, they will also love this recipe. It can also be carried to school for mid meal.
Toast the waffle. You can use burger bun instead of waffle. Place the tomato on waffles, sprinkle some pepper and salt.
Now mash a boiled potato and shape it round. Keep the shaped mashed potato on the tomatoes. Grate some cheese on it and keep the combination in microwave for about twenty seconds. Do not remove until the cheese is melted. This is includes lot of calcium, iron, vitamins, and minerals.
Quick fruit crisp:
Mix some berries like strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, and blueberries with some cubed peaches. Mix them well with few teaspoonful of honey. Keep the mixture mixing till every fruit gets coated with honey.
You may even add some more fruits like apple, banana, and pears.
Now dust some cornstarch on the fruit mixture. Blend them well.
And lastly add some granola over the mixture and place it in microwave for approx three to four minutes. Once you see the sauce bubbling, remove it serve warm.
Apple- Mango muffins:
This snack can be stored for at least three days. At very first grease the cooking spray in muffin cups and keeps the aside. Melt half cup of butter in saucepan.
Now add some to and condensed milk to a large bowl. Beat the mixture very well till it gets soften.
Then add one cup of mango pieces, one cup of raisins, one cup of unsweetened apple sauce, and two chopped apples to large bowl. Remember to peel apple. Add the melted butter to the mixture and mix them thoroughly.
Take another bowl of flour. Add brown sugar, baking soda, and salt to the flour. Put the above mixture to the flour and mix it well. Stir the mixture, till it gets soften. Now fill the muffin mixture
Finally bake them for approx thirty minutes. Remove them from oven and cool them down for five minutes.
Yummy muffins are ready to eat or packed for school.
Banana monkey crunch:
Well this can be good breakfast food or it can be enjoyed even as a dessert.
Mix some yogurt and pudding powder to pineapple juice. Beat the mixture very well till it gets smooth and thick. Now add some crushed pineapple pieces to the mixture.
Put the mixture in dessert bowls or long glasses. Add some granola and garnish it with banana slices
Enjoy it with toast sandwich in the morning or have it as dessert for the dinner.
Cranberry and almond chewies:
Heat half cup chopped almonds for three to five minutes till it becomes golden brown.
Mix almonds with cereals and cranberries in a bowl.
Now put some butter in saucepan and heat on a medium flame. As the butter melts, add some corn syrup and brown sugar. Stir the mixture well. Once the mixture starts bubbling remove it from the flame.
Then add some vanilla extract and pour it on cereal mixture. Keep the mixture mixing until it gets properly coated. Now take the mixture in hand and firmly press it and give it round shape.
This yummy snack can be stored for few days.
Berry creamy waffles:
Mix berries like strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, and mulberry with apple sauce in large bowl. Keep the mixture for one minute in microwave. Remove it after one minute.
Now toast the waffle and keep one waffle in a dish.
Apply two tablespoon of yogurt to the waffle and then put the fruit mixture on it. Now again place one waffle on it. Apply second hand of yogurt to the waffle and drop the fruit mixture over it. Garnish it with remaining yogurt.
This snack will provide you keep your child energetic throughout the day.
