Toothsome And Healthy Iron Food



The species of mothers really possess some amazing power when it comes to their kid’s health. Their world goes upside down when their child doesn’t live a healthy life. But the same time it is very difficult to this species to feed their kids with all the nutrients that is highly important for their health.

Kids are so fussy about their food and easily grab the food if it is attractive. They are highly fond of chocolates and all sort of junk food. But at the same they are very harmful for their health.

A child in his growing days needs all kinds of nutrients. As this nutrients makes them strong, boost immune system and healthy.

As long as the child is fed on mother’s milk he gets all the nutrients. Especially breast milk is the only best food for babies under six months. But as the child grows the struggle gets stronger for moms. They have to feed their babies with all kind of nutrients with terms applied by their kids.

Iron foods for kidsDeficiency in iron is the biggest problem that is faced by mothers in regards with kids. As they get older they refuse to eat food and grab junk food which by any means have no good nutrients. They only ideal way to feed your kids with iron food is by sorting some food and making them attractive which will make them plunge on those food stuffs.

Iron which is addressed as a trace mineral, but their properties are very powerful. As kids highly energetic they loose a great amount of energy while playing. And hence they require good amount of blood in their body to remain healthy. And the formation of blood depends a lot on the healthy creation of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin which is also an oxygen carrier in red blood cells that makes oxygen for the rest of the body. Iron is also essential to generate myoglobin which is regarded as the oxygen reservoir in the muscle cells. Iron is especially low in kids.

I know it is very difficult to feed kids with all the nutrients but it is just smart way to make to food look attractive. Usually we need to include iron rich food in our kid’s diet just after 6 months of age.

But it is never too late to start the nutritious food in your kid’s diet.
There are food stuff which are amazingly rich in iron and children will grab them very easily. Like:

CerealsCereals:

Include a good amount of cereals in their daily breakfast as they are highly rich in iron. Mix it with good amount of water and don’t worry water doesn’t dissolve iron and hence mash them with spoon making it into paste form. They definitely taste good.

Brown BreadBrown Bread:

Club salad vegetables with brown bread to make a yummy sandwich. You can even pack it them for school as a healthy snack. The salad vegetables contain low calorie which makes them a healthy snack. Compare to whole bread, brown bread contain a good amount of iron. Brown bread can simply taste awesome with a sheet of butter or cheese.

PastaPasta:

Pasta is becoming a very favorite food among kids. They are easily prepared for a party snack. As it contains good amount of iron it is very amazing as energy booster. You can even add good amount of vegetables to pasta making it more healthy and tasty.

AlmondAlmond:

A small amount of almonds also contains 6% of iron which meets the daily requirements. This vital mineral that is wrapped in almonds assists to carry oxygen to all of the body’s cells and organs. Almond can be added to the cookies, pastries, breakfast cereals and smoothies.

Dried FigsDried Figs:

Dried figs being low in carbohydrate and calories don’t make your kid lethargic. They are good source of iron and hence can be added to their box making it is good snack.

FruitsFruits:

The best source of iron is included in fresh fruits. Club fruits with fruits salads, smoothies, juices or just eat it raw. They are the amazing source of iron. Fruits like raspberries, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Passion fruit, Mulberries, Lychee, Loganberries, Breadfruit, Boysenberries, Blackcurrants, Avocado are highly rich source of iron. Consuming at least three fruits a day will make your child healthy and happy.

Spinach and broccoliSpinach and broccoli:

Usually kids hate vegetables but you have to make them attractive so as they tend to eat it. Spinach can be extracted as soups. Spinach soups are highly rich in iron and increases the immune system of your body. Even broccoli is good source of iron. You can make them eat by attracting it to their crunchy nature or even you can add them to their diet as broccoli sprouts.

Dried DatesDried Dates:

Add few dried dates to your kid’s pocket and as they are sweet in nature they will definitely relish it. Not only dates are too good in iron but they are also good in calories, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Dates can also be added to some of the salads or desserts. You can also make a mixture of tamarind, chilies and dates making it a very yummy snack to grab with potato fries.

ParsleyParsley:

Parsley is considered as one of the most decorative vegetable. So add them as decorative material they are easily grabbed by kids. It is amazing source of iron. So add them to your kid’s salads. It can also be clubbed with soups. They make amazing combination with vegetable sautés.

It is not that kid’s create great problems for eating it is just you need to develop the love for food in them by making them attractive. Even kids love food. But a happy heart of the kid will eat better food.

And also eating right will make them happy and healthy. A healthy child is always the happiest child. Like it is said a way to every one’s heart is through its stomach so keep you child’s tummy happy and he will smile always.
