Teenagers are usually known for their rebellious attitude in society and even that attitude is observed while consuming food. Parents and all their well wishers do inform them about the food that might be harmful for their health. But this attitude of being rebellious comes with age and mellows down with growing age. Whatever it may be but nothing almost, almost nothing should hammer your health. Health should be of the prime concern.
Teenage is the time to enjoy and have fun. Don’t stop hanging around with your friends and enjoying the life to fullest. But it definitely doesn’t means that you neglect your health and grab any crap products. Life always grants all these day just once in lifetime. If you are not healthy do you even think that you will be able to enjoy all that happiness? So, I guess it is never too late to start with the healthy life. In fact I will suggest let it be your New Year resolution to eat healthy and nutritional food stuffs. It is not that difficult just some little effort and you have that in your basket.
- At the very first- cut down consuming oodles of mayonnaise in sandwiches, burgers and with starters. Instead of it smash ripe avocado and club it with the salads.
Cakes, pastries, and muffs almost everything is prepared from white flour. Replace that white flour with whole wheat flour and bake your delicacies.- Bags of chips and fried food stuff can be exchanged with the bag of frozen fruits and berries. Fruits and berries are rich in fiber and acts as very good antioxidant agents which are beneficial for your health.
- Substitute your white rice with brown rice. The nutrients present in rice usually get wiped away during the process of polishing thus, the brown rice preserves the nutrients present it.
- Check out the information on the packages of spice as some of the spice turn inedible after few months. So, always try and check out the products before you consume them.
- Always try to eat fresh food most of the time as stale food many times upsets your tummy. Check out the fresh fruits and vegetable in markets. Be cautious while you’re buying food items as, often we neglect the freshness of the product and get it packed. Even while consuming your food don’t eat stale food. Try to eat freshly cooked food.
- Never skip your breakfast as it results in many health hazards. Usually, teenagers purposely skip their breakfast in order to get slim but that is not going to work anytime. Because our body behaves in very different manner. Observe this fact, the day you leave empty stomach in the morning you will start feeling more hungry which will make you consume more food then the required amount. Thus, adds more weight to the existed weight.
- Increase the intake of calcium in your diet as it helps in constructing the constitution of your body. There is wide range of food stuff that includes calcium like soymilk, almond, low fat cheese, yogurt and orange juice. All these are very good source of calcium which is required by our body to strengthen the teeth and bones.
- While you are hanging around with your friends and partying it is obvious that you will hog in some restaurants. Don’t give this excuse that the fast food centers won’t provide healthy food. What matter is your willingness to eat healthy food? Instead of grabbing some heavy fats flooded burger munch on some salad burger that is free from cheese, sauces and mayonnaise. Eat some good fruits salad with low fat yogurt which can be very good dessert.
- Indulge yourself more into veggie food rather plunging in flesh food. Greenies have ample amount of nutrients that is required by the body. Vegetables are very much beneficial for good health as they are flooded with enormous amount of vitamins, minerals, iron and fiber that keeps you away from all the health disorders. Decorate your plate with colorful vegetables steamed, cooked or raw.
- Don’t munch on fried snack or potato chips. Instead put some handful of nuts in your mouth and munch them. Dried fruits and nuts are the richest source of vitamins, minerals and all the nutrients which is essential to tone up the body.
- Cut down your meals in more intervals. Eat small portion in every intervals that will help you in getting energy in many intervals. And in between of your meals consume a healthy snack that provides body with the nutrition.
- Drink plenty of water, water being the most essential element that helps in flushing the toxins from the body. It also keeps the body hydrated for the proper circulation of blood. The blood cells in our body needs to hydrated in few intervals because if they dry up they die and it becomes difficult for body to create new cells. Thus, drink ample amount of water and fruit juices which cleanse your body system. Drinking doesn’t even mean that you should consume heavy amount of coffee, tea and carbonated drinks. All these are the most harmful drinks that hammer your health.
Even the rebellious attitude is applied in a right way give us amazing result in life. It is nothing more than loving you and loving your body. God has bestowed a very good body to all the human beings we just need to take care. Eat right, sleep tight and be happy it will keep always keep you healthy.
