I have seen many times kids actually pleading, crying and requesting for the sake of ice creams. Parents often do not melt down but some times they don’t even stop them from eating ice creams. Inflammation of tonsils is usually due to the infection by Streptococcus Pyogenes. This infection is felicitated by the toxic conditions of the systems generally, resulting from the bad feeding habits and unhygienic conditions. It is brought to the head by a sudden lowering of vitality due to exposure and sudden chill. Overeating, consumption of refined foods like sugar, white flour and products made from white flour, fried foods, condiments, excessive tea and coffee all contribute to Tonsillitis.
Well it is very easily neglected as people think that it is all due to cough and cold and usually get confuse with the symptoms similar to that of the cold. Instead of getting muddled up it is anytime better to consult the doctor whenever you find the following symptoms:
- Sore throat

The dietary chart for the treatment of tonsillitis is as follows:
I. An individual will have to follow a diet on raw juice for at least three to five days. Consume a glass of fresh orange or lemon juice that is diluted with water in proportion of 50:50 at an interval of every two hour form 08.00 am to 08.00 pm and use lukewarm water enema daily during this period.
II. an all fruit diet has to be followed for next three to five days with three meals a day that comprises of fresh juicy fruits such as apple, pear, peach, papaya, grapes, orange and pineapple.
III. Thereafter, gradually adopt a well balanced diet:

On wakening:
Drink a glass of lukewarm water with half freshly squeezed lime with a teaspoon of honey.

Breakfast:
Grab on fresh fruit and a glass of milk, sweetened with honey.

Lunch:
Enjoy the lunch with a bowl of freshly prepared steamed vegetables such as carrot, cabbage, cauliflower, squash and beans with two or three whole wheat chapattis. Include a glass of buttermilk in your lunch.

Mid- Afternoon:
Sip on glass of vegetable juice of fresh fruit juice.

Dinner:
Consume a large bowl of salad of fresh green vegetables such as lettuce, carrot, cucumber, tomatoes, radish, beet roots and sprouts with a dressing of lemon juice.

Bed time:
Drink a glass of milk.
Some of the home remedies that are highly beneficial for eliminating the tonsils are as follows:
- Whenever there is pain squeeze half lime in a glass of warm water with two teaspoon of honey and pinch of salt. Sip it slowly in such situation.
- Drink a glass of pure boiled milk mixed with a dash of turmeric powder and pepper powder. This mixture should be consumed in night for at three days. It provides great relief.
- Raw vegetable juice that comprises of carrot, beet and cucumber is very much beneficial in the treatment of tonsillitis.
- Banafsha flowers are considered helpful in the treatment of tonsillitis. Boil milk approximately about fifty ml with these flowers. Filter this mixture and consume it before it gets cold.
Rather measures those are helpful for tonsils:
A heating compressor should be placed near the throat as it relieves the sore throat and lessens the swelling. For this method you may use a cloth that has to be soaked in cold water. Drain and squeeze out all the water and dry it completely. Then wrap it around your neck and cover the cloth with a folded flannel or woolen material. Let it remain for whole night. It gives warm feeling and mellow down the pain.
Gargle throat with hot water and mix little salt and lime juice. This actually pulls out all the fluids from the inflamed throat thus providing great relief.
A gargle done with fenugreek seeds is also very much effective.
Have a warm water bath. It soothes the pain.
Go for some light exercises that are very much beneficial. Like going for walk in the early morning provides good amount of oxygen in the body.
It is also recommended that when you ailments can be cured naturally then why to opt for surgeries. Don’t mingle with your body unless it is very much necessary. God has provided human being with all kind of solution here itself on the earth. We just need to utilize it in right way. The proper diet has the ability to cure all the troubles that hinder our health. Just follow the diet and stay happy.
