Healthy living for kid’s health



In the modern world, with the increase in science and technology, numerous other factors have also come into existence. Rise in pollution, global warming, and rather environmental hazards have invited many disease that are harmful to the health. Even though the standard of living is high, it is not counted in healthy living. Sometimes, these diseases do not show the symptoms at initial stages, but they weirdly come out at complicated stages. It is necessary to prevent yourself from such harmful diseases. Thus, you require a very strong immune system.

Kid’s health is not that matured, and hence they posses weak immune system. You will find many kids getting sick due to harmful pollutant in the environment. A weak immune system is the major reason for them to fall sick. As the immune system of kids develops according to their age, it requires proper nutrition for their growth and development. You need to teach your child the benefits of healthy living, thus preventing your child from numerous illnesses.

Try to make them follow some good habits by following some tips such as:
  • Healthy livingInvolve your kids in making food, at least one day of the week.
  • Provide them the information of nutritious diet and hazards of junk food.
  • Make them carry out exercise daily, as their heart needs to be healthy. In fact, let them enjoy doing exercise with you. Running, walking, cycling, swimming, or skipping is good options to work out with them.
  • Keep some handful of nuts, whenever they demand for some lighter snacks.
  • Replace your white rice with brown rice for better health. In the initial stages, mix white rice and brown rice in the proportion of 50:50.
  • Make breakfast compulsory and include nutritious food items such as cereals, whole grain pasta, milk, fruits, whole wheat bread, and granola.
  • Avoid adding sugar as sweetener, replace it with honey. Feed your child with honey based desserts.
  • Teach your child about heart rate, and rather functions of the body. Also teach them the usage of first aid in emergency.
  • Make them understand about critical situation such as earthquake, Katrina, and now recent happening activities like bomb blast etc. Give them some important tips to stay safe and calm.
  • Give them the safety lessons to stay away from thief and kidnappers.
  • Provide them some emergency numbers of police, hospitals, fire brigade, and family members in case of emergency.
  • Ask them to wash their hands before they consume food. You may even ask them to wash fruits and vegetables for you. Thus, they learn to wash fruits and vegetables before eating them.
  • Let them drink plenty of water and fresh fruit juices to fulfill the requirement of the body.
  • Play some indoor games with them to stay intact with every member of the family.
  • Healthy living for kidsIndulge more of fruits and vegetables in their regular diet. Make these food items interesting by creating cartoon models or with its colors.
  • Teach them to be good human being by helping any needy person.  Teach them the importance of humanity rather than imposing race, community, and religious restriction on them.
  • Let them learn the importance of resources such as electricity, water, and fuel.

Let your kids follow these simple methods to stay from bad living style. A healthy diet, adequate sleep, and regular exercise are the key to healthy living.
