Medicated drugs provide temporary, but are not able to restore our health. Some diseases definitely require drugs for their treatment, but you should also consume herbal medicines as, they believe in curing and restoring our damaged health.
Since tradition, herbs are used in the treatment of numerous ailments. They are loved world wide for their immense benefits, but they are also admired for their easy availability. It is very well said that – Honor the healer for his services,
for the Lord created him.

Many of the herbs that are used in our day-to day life can be easily grown in our garden. They do not require preferable soils to grow and hence can be grown easily. Thus, you may receive fresh herbs to use for different herbs. The herbs that can be used are as follows:
Chamomile:
Greatly used for medicinal purpose, chamomile is grown widely on open grounds. White colored flowers are highly admired for the preparation of chamomile teas. The intake of this tea is beneficial in the treatment of indigestion and depression. They are also effective for skin ailments.

Echinacea:

Viola tricolor (Johnny-jump-up):
A wild perennial flower inducted in North America, is usually grown on wastelands and small grasslands. They also prefer neutral or acidic soil for growth. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties- they are beneficial in the treatment of skin infection, eczema, and bronchitis.
Lavender:
Belonging to mint family, lavender is a small shrub found in Mediterranean region and Africa. You may see them planted in lawns world wide. The flower heads and oil extracted from this flower are used for medicinal purposes. Lavender oil is effective in calming down stress. It is also applied to ease pain during wounds and cuts.

Lemon balm:
Blooming at end of the summer, white colored flowers of lemon balm are full of nectar. This plant requires well sapped sandy soil adequate snow covering for their survival. The leaves of lemon balm are often used to flavor ice creams and iced teas. The consumptions of this herb relaxes stressed nervous system. This herb induces sound sleep and cures cold swellings.

Calendula officinalis- (marigold):
Resident to Southern Europe, calendula officinalis are usually found in warm temperate regions. They are widely grown as herb world wide and prefers sunny weather in any kind of soil. The extracts from flowers are used in preparing cosmetic products. They are natural sunscreen and effective on sunburns. The intake of this herb helps in soothing ulcers and indigestion problems. You can use them to remove acne and skin blemishes from your skin.
